Your Role:
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on thermoforming machinery, conveyors, and other production equipment.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues to minimize downtime.
Fabricating, modifying, and installing components to improve equipment performance.
Collaborating with the production team to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
A Certification III or higher in Mechanical Fitting, Maintenance, or a related trade qualification.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors.
Experience with thermoforming or plastics processing equipment is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
