Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated HR Officer (Full-time or Part-time) to join our dynamic HR team. The role involves managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting recruitment processes while providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance with employment legislation. It includes handling workplace relations matters such as complaints, conflicts, grievances, and misconduct, as well as assisting in determining appropriate salaries, remuneration packages, and payroll support. Additionally, the role contributes to performance management, staff rewards, recognition, and well-being programmes while facilitating employee training, development opportunities, and maintaining the employee handbook.
About the role
- Managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting the recruitment process
- Providing advice and assistance on HR policies, projects and procedures.
- Drafting HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Dealing with workplace relations issues such as complaints, conflicts, grievances and misconduct.
- Assisting with determining suitable salaries and remuneration
- Providing the necessary support systems for payroll requirements
- Assisting with performance management processes and devising staff remuneration, rewards and recognition and wellbeing programs.
- Supporting employee training and development opportunities and updating the employee handbook
About You
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR officer, administrator or other HR position
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of Award, labour laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- High ethical standards and reliability
- BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field.
- HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
