About the Role

Our client is a solar energy manufacturing company with a global presence who focus on Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Utility scale projects across Australia.

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will focus on the support of innovative renewable energy technologies, including PV inverters and battery energy storage systems (BESS). As a key player in their support operations, you will have the opportunity to engage with customers, contribute to innovative projects, and collaborate with a talented team to drive sustainable energy solutions forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional technical assistance during the pre-sales phase for solar power and energy storage solutions, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Develop tailored solutions and provide comprehensive technical proposals for large-scale solar power, BESS, and hybrid energy projects.
• Support the creation and review of technical documents, providing insights and collaborating closely with the commercial team on tender submissions.
• Actively participate in technical marketing campaigns, showcasing our cutting-edge technologies and solutions to industry stakeholders.
• Stay informed about local and international industry standards and regulations related to renewable energy systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in solar, battery storage, and hybrid technologies, ensuring that our solutions remain at the forefront of the market.
• Conduct market research, identifying customer needs, industry trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically working with PV and BESS systems.
• Strong understanding of solar power generation, battery storage, and system design principles.
• A solid grasp of electrical principles and engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CAD software.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders.
• A self-driven, adaptable, and proactive approach to problem-solving and technical support.
