MOBILE PLANT OPERATOR

Specialised Industrial Solutions (SIS) are well-established locally owned and operated company in Mount Isa, servicing QLD and NT. Originally providing abrasive blasting and protecting coating applications, our continuous success and the growing demand for our expertise led us to expand into a complete range of industrial services including Ultra High Pressure Water Jetting (UHPWJ), drain and tank cleaning, vacuum truck and tilt tray services.

We are looking for a fulltime employee under the occupation of Mobile Plant Operator. We are offering a yearly salary of $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus 11.5% Superannuation to the successful applicant.

The successful applicant must be able to meet the criteria set out below:

Key Responsibilities and duties:

• Driving and maneuvering plant to worksite
• Selecting and fitting attachments to plant
• Manipulating controls to operate attachments mechanically, hydraulically and electrically
• Monitoring operation of plant directly and by referring to instruments
• Monitoring condition of plant, performing minor repairs and reporting mechanical faults
• Cleaning and carrying out minor repairs on heavy machinery
• General site clean
• Following safety procedures
• Wearing appropriate PPE
• Provide details of the chemicals / cleaning products that are used

Work experience and Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience as a mobile plant operator.
• Must have a background in operating.
• Applicants who have completed certificates in operating duties may be looked at favorably.

Must have:

• Drivers Licence
• Any other relevant operator tickets
