About the Role
WorkPac is seeking a Specialist HME Fleet to support the execution of quarterly fleet plans, maintain the HME Fleet database, and review fleet strategies. This role requires working closely with stakeholders to optimize asset utilization and drive operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quarterly HME fleet plans, identifying asset needs such as relocations, hires, and purchases.
- Act as a key contact for HME capabilities, suitability, and constraints, providing guidance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure fleet requirements align with business targets.
- Review and manage HME fleet strategies to streamline operations and reduce system complexity.
- Work with Sustaining Capital Delivery Teams to coordinate fleet deployments and new asset deliveries.
- Support HME options analysis, working with Business Analysts to determine optimal business solutions.
- Manage Change Management (MoC) processes for new asset models.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements.
- Maintain and support the HME Fleet Database and Power BI reporting.
- Uphold Rio Tinto’s values of care, courage, and curiosity.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in fleet management, asset planning, or heavy mobile equipment (HME) operations.
- Strong background in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of fleet strategy, procurement, and optimization.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting tools (Power BI), and fleet databases.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
