About the Role
WorkPac are seeking a Master Data Specialist to join our client Rio Tinto, within the Improvement Division. In this role, the successful candidate will support programs focused on productivity improvements in asset management and master data management, collaborating with site-based teams and business units to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support improvement projects related to asset management and master data
- Collaborate with Fixed Plant teams and leaders to implement best practices
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance functions
- Assist with the development and implementation of asset management systems, including PM01 Master Data
- Conduct data entry, analysis, and investigations to support business units
- Identify and drive improvement opportunities in asset management processes
- Engage in site travel and work closely with stakeholders to sustain and embed processs
- Support shutdown management and work management system implementations
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience with Rio Tinto company policies & procedures
- Strong SAP system and master data management expertise
- Proficient with MS Suite (Teams & Sharepoint)
- Background in Fixed Plant and/or Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) planning and scheduling
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar field
- Hands-on experience in maintaining or executing projects for Fixed Plant or HME
- Proficiency with online tools, database management, data entry, and analysis
- A valid ‘C’ Class drivers licence
