What you’ll be doing:
If you live local, you might know our Bunbury Learning Centre in Glen Iris, nestled close to the beach? At the start of your day, you’ll walk pass our award-winning nature escape including a veggie patch, catch up with your fabulous colleagues (& your favourite little ones), thriving with play and learning. You’ll lead a close-knit team of educators, providing an inclusive safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment. You’ll promote our ‘School ReadY’ program, manage compliance, and truly engage with our wonderful children and families. At the end of your shift, you’ll walk out the door (still smiling) knowing the children are continuing to develop in body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care
- Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
- Hold a HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
- Previous experience in children services, developing and implementing programs for 0-to-5-yr olds
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
