About the Role
We are seeking an Academic Services Officer to join our fast paced Clinical Health and Sciences Academic Unit. Reporting to Team Leader: Academic Services (Research), you will be responsible for undertaking tasks that support the unit’s research activities and Higher Degree by Research students communication with stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of academic and research functions.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated previous experience working in an administrative role in a team based service environment
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills including preparation of written materials and experience in liaising with people at all levels both internal and external to an organisation to deliver quality customer service
- Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities under broad direction
