About the role
The headspace Schools & Communities Education and Training Consultant will implement statewide training programs of STORM, SAFEMinds and Suicide Risk Continuum Training for school staff across Victoria. The evidence informed training programs are designed to build school staff capability and capacity to effectively respond to students with mental health concerns, suicide risk and develop their skills and confidence to identify, respond, support and refer school students.
Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced and qualified adult facilitator possessing considerable knowledge and experience of schools, youth mental health and adult learning.
A tertiary qualification relevant to either mental health or education and training or a relevant field or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience is essential.
This role will require online training delivery as well as some travel for onsite training delivery, therefore the incumbent must possess the willingness and capability to travel within Victoria regularly.

- Have the right to live and work in Australia
- Have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent, and/or pass all of the WWCC(s) required for this role (please note that for some roles, headspace requires WWCCs for other State/Territories in addition to your Home State)
- Satisfactorily undergo a headspace Police Check
