Currambena Preschool, established in 1969, is a community-based, child-centred preschool operating during school terms. Nestled within a small independent primary school in Lane Cove, we are committed to providing an alternative to mainstream education, fostering individual learning and holistic development for each child.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic Diploma-trained educator to join our team full-time, starting in Term 2, 2025.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have:
Diploma of Children’s Services (or equivalent)
Current ACECQA-approved First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Experience working with children aged 3-6 years
A sound understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Standards, and legislative requirements
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong programming, planning, and documentation skills
A positive, friendly, and collaborative attitude
Experience supporting children with additional needs (highly regarded)
