Our client are a Local Government based in Western Sydney who are currently looking for a qualified Workshop mechanic to assist with maintenance of assets. I.e. Fleet, Plant, Equipment etc.

The position is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in Rooty Hill

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Experience in mechanical repair of Light Vehicles, plant, trucks and equipment
• Experience in tyre fitting and repairs
• Current Drivers Licence and own Transport
• Ability to undertake administrative tasks such as maintaining records and ordering parts/services
• HR licence (desired)
• White card
• A Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Authority (MVRIA) Motor Mechanic Certificate is also required
• Previous Government experience - Highly desirable
