About the role

In this role, your duties as a Light Vehicle Mechanic will include but not be limited to:

• performing maintenance tasks incl. parts repairs/replacements, oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake repairs
• diagnosing mechanical issues & identifying necessary repairs
• conducting detailed inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance
• using computerised diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems
• communicating with customers about their vehicle and required solutions
• maintaining accurate records of repairs and services performed

What we're looking for

• Min. 3 years Qualified Mechanic experience (preferably with a variety of vehicle makes/models)
• Certificate III in Automotive Training
• Valid driver’s license essential
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lead staff as a workshop floor man/supervisor.
