Your position

This is key role in the business as their Supervisor Electrician - Solar. Your main responsibility is a mixture of field based working on projects and one day a week from the office on more managerial aspects. Project work is installing and working on solar installs, and managerial is to ensure standards are met and maintained in the installations and projects being delivered, auditing work and making sure quality is upheld.

• A mix of field based on projects & managerial quality assurance
• Installing various Solar & Battery projects for domestic residential
• Completing some installs yourself, and supervising others
• Ensuring quality and standards are met and maintained from trades
• Doing desktop audits of jobs through photos and evidence provided
• Overseeing other staff on the tools completing installations
• Onboarding, training & tool box talks with new tradespeople
• Working alongside the project delivery team ensuring projects are rolled out successfully

Experience needed

You must have experience in Solar installations with CEC licence accreditation. As well as have an electrical contractors licence to be a nominee.

You will be able to communicate effectively with trades and subcontractors and have a good workmanship in quality and compliance for Solar and Battery installs.

• Solar installation experience
• Accredited licences in Electrical & Solar CEC
• Have strong understanding of quality and standards
• Ability to work with staff and team members for direction
• Esurance of project compliance and safety
• Electrical contractors licence for nominee
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and with a team
• Can travel to sites and projects throughout
• Is a bonus if you have Battery licence accreditations too
