A fit, outdoor worker is required for a wide range of garden and nursery work in SE Melbourne suburbs. (most sites are 7km from Bentleigh East 3165)

Work includes private gardens, schools and a nursery.

A genuine interest in horticulture and plants a great advantage.

Garden maintenance tasks include:

• replanting garden schemes
• min-loader and chipper operation
• hedging and pruning
• spraying
• edging
• tree lopping to 6m
• chainsaw
• green waste management, disposal
• rake and blower
• mulching and feeding
• pest and disease management

Nursery tasks include:

1. potting
2. order dispatch
3. loading and deliveries
4. feeding and staking
5. form pruning
6. irrigation systems

Garden installation (hardscape) is also available for those keen to impress.

A drivers licence and access to a vehicle is necessary although the nursery work is at one site. Manual drivers licence is an advantage.

Working with Children Certificate required (or simple application of & receipt)

A full-time role is available after around a three month training/performance assessment period.
