About the role

Ponderosa Herefords' is seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Manager to join our team in Meeniyan, VIC. This full-time role is responsible for the overall management and operation of our cattle farm, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and productivity.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing all aspects of farm operations, including livestock management, feed and pasture management, equipment maintenance.
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve herd health, productivity, and profitability
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
• Providing hands-on support

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in farm management, preferably in the cattle industry
• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, feed and pasture management, and farm equipment operation and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making
