About the Client

Our client is a well-established leader in the financial sector, known for delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that support millions of customers across Australia. With a strong focus on innovation, security, and customer experience, they are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their growing technology team.

This contract assignment up to a duration of 12months, with possibility of extension.

About the Role

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications that support key business operations. Working within an Agile environment, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions while mentoring junior developers and contributing to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Work with SQL Server, REST/SOAP APIs, and WCF to support integration and data management.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in SDLC, DevOps, and security.

About You

• Extensive experience with .NET framework, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with SQL, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
