Salary:
Senior Psychologist - $119, 972 to $130,314pa;
Senior Specialist - $140,655 - $148,932pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Are you ready to take the next step in your psychology career? We're looking for an experienced Senior Psychologist/Senior Specialist Psychologist to join the Service Integration Team at Kirkconnell Correctional Centre—a facility focused on pre-release and reintegration.

Your Role
As a Senior Psychologist, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering specialist psychological services to a diverse and complex inmate population, including sex offenders and serious offenders subject to specific release protocols. You'll provide leadership, guidance, and direct psychological support, working alongside a dedicated team to promote rehabilitation and reintegration.
If you're ready to take on a senior specialist role, you'll also be responsible for overseeing the management of complex cases, mentoring staff, and leading research and evaluation projects to enhance psychology services across the department.
What you'll do
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage, coordinate and action the delivery of psychology services at the centre.
- Providing direct psychological services to people in custody
- Work within the broader Service Integration Team to provide consultation and advice on psychological aspects of inmate behaviour and management.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Specialist Psychologist
- Oversee the management of more complex offenders to comprehensively address risks and needs.
- Provide advanced clinical leadership and supervise staff, promoting best practices and high service standards.
- Lead research and evaluation projects aimed at improving psychology services and programs within the Department.

Essential requirements
- Minimum four-year accredited qualification in psychology with full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Eligible to be an authorised supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and willingness to supervise provisional psychologists and students.
- Demonstrated experience in assessment and treatment including mental health, cognitive impairment and people who sexually offend
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel throughout NSW.
