The Bunbury Farmers Market is Australia's leading independent Fresh Food Retailer. We are based in the Southwest of Western Australia in one of the most liveable areas in Australia. We source our fresh produce from over 150 local growers, and we are passionate about our ‘Market Made’ range of fresh meal and dessert choices made on the premises. Coupled with our high-quality Gourmet Butcher / Meat and Seafood products, we have a unique dairy offering of local and international cheeses & anti-pasto that compliment our Deli, Sushi and Café lines.

The Role

You must be a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the satisfaction of our customers. If you are a leader with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the grocery department
• Supervising the Desserts, Bakery and Grocery shelf-fill team
• Ensure that these departments adhere to all food safety regulations and standards
• Supervise, train, and evaluate team members to ensure they are providing exceptional customer service
• Roster grocery staff and manage leave request
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the store is running smoothly and efficiently
• Resolve customer complaints and enquiries regarding grocery lines in a professional and efficient manner

Qualifications & Accountability

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a grocery or retail management role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
• Be available one day of the weekend
• Be highly organised whilst being suitably flexible
