Job Opportunity: Automotive Workshop Supervisor/Foreman,

The client has over 40 years of experience and is a leader in custom-built truck bodies across Western Australia. The client has an excellent reputation which has made them the trusted choice for custom truck bodies, van bodies, tippers, mobile medical clinics, trailers, and horse transportation. Their diverse team, representing 10 different countries, is a key part of what makes them successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 40+ skilled employees with diverse backgrounds and expertise.
• Schedule and oversee truck body builds, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Monitor quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards in all builds.
• Lead by example, showing hands-on leadership when needed.
• Communicate with customers, addressing their needs and providing updates.
• Ensure smooth daily operations within the workshop.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry, with a background in running a workshop of 20+ people.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and body building procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a large, diverse team.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a focus on motivating and getting the best out of your team.
• If you hold a VSB sign-off certificate, this would be an advantage.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
