About the role:

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Songbird Oxley Aged Care Home, opening in March 2025. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious, and beautifully presented meals while ensuring food safety compliance and managing kitchen operations.

You will positively lead and mentor the kitchen team, and collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall dining experience.

About you:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef, ideally, but not essentially in aged care
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support your team.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and compliance standards.
• A commitment to resident satisfaction.
