The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and experience:

• 5-7+ years in an operational risk or enterprise risk management role
• Hands on, down to earth and willing to roll up your sleeves
• A commercial and pragmatic approach
• Able to demonstrate strategic thinking and be involved in training, workshops, etc.
• Prior experience with driving and implementing process and controls changes in the business.
• Experience in a risk management role in a non-financial services sector would be ideal (i.e. non-profit, utilities, energy, government, etc)
• Desirable: Prior exposure with Salesforce as it applies to a risk and control environment will be highly regarded.

The Role

The Risk and Compliance Manager is a leadership role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with the Chief Product Officer.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that operational risks and controls are managed, implemented and efficient
• Managing the quality assurance activities including a small team
• Assessing and integrating regulatory, external requirements and technology change
• Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to design optimal processes to enable an efficient and positive customer experience
• Ongoing review of processes and policies aiming for continuous improvement and business optimisation
