Your New Role!
The Senior Audio Visual Technician is responsible for the management and support of the Audio-Visual venues and technologies, including lifecycle management, incident resolution and configuration management activities.
Your key responsibilities will include -
- Coordination of daily operational activities for audio visual technicians.
- Consult with clients on audio visual installations and upgrades.
- Supervise audio visual technicians in the absence of Manager of Campus Technology.
- Coordinate lifecycle management, asset management and maintenance activities of audio visual installations and venues.
- Provide second level escalation point for on-site and remote support for complex technical incidents and requests related to installations and venues.
- Ensure all activities during the above are aligned to approved license conditions, University policies and financial obligations.

This Continuous | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $87,000 - $94,000 plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in similar position.
- Demonstrated experience in supervisory experience.
- High levels of competency in interpersonal and customer focused communication.
- Demonstrated ability in sustaining vendor relations.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Tertiary Degree in Audio Visual Production or similar.
- ITIL Certification.
