Posted 23 days ago
Evnex is an equal opportunities employer. We seek foremost an aptitude for growth and a common sense of purpose and mission. If you don't feel you meet every requirement of the role, we still encourage you to apply—use your cover letter to explain how your skills, experiences, and unique perspective could contribute to our team.
At Evnex, we design, build, and install smart electric vehicle charging systems. Our New Zealand-built chargers and software shift charging to times when the grid is cleanest and cheapest—reducing the impact on our customer’s wallets and the environment. We’re riding the wave of one of the largest disruptions in transport since the motor vehicle—come join us!
We’re a friendly, supportive team with big ambitions who are passionate about our work, providing opportunities for our people to grow. We have offices in Christchurch, New Zealand, and highly cross-functional and work across sales, marketing, and a range of engineering disciplines.
The role
As Evnex’s Marketing Campaign Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation across both B2C and B2B segments. You will work closely with our agency partners and internal teams to ensure campaigns are strategic, data-driven, and aligned with business goals.
This role will require close collaboration with our Partner Marketing Lead to support co-marketing initiatives and drive demand through our partner network. You’ll also partner with our Content Marketing Lead to develop compelling campaign messaging and assets, targeting specific buyer personas and ensuring consistency and impact across all marketing channels. If you’re looking for an exciting role where you’ll work with innovative homegrown technology while tackling one of the biggest challenges of our time, we’d love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities and skills
- Campaign strategy and execution: Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels to generate leads and drive engagement for both B2C and B2B audiences.
- Performance optimisation: Continuously track, measure, and optimise campaigns based on data-driven insights to improve ROI and overall effectiveness.
- Collaboration with marketing peers: Develop targeted messaging and creative assets that align with campaign objectives. Support co-branded initiatives and drive demand through our partner ecosystem.
- Marketing automation and CRM: Leverage tools like HubSpot to enhance customer journeys, nurture leads, improve conversion rates, and turn our customers into advocates.
- Data and analytics: Analyse campaign performance metrics, customer insights, and market trends to inform future strategies and drive continuous improvement.
What we're looking for:
The right candidate will have a strong background in marketing campaign strategy and execution. You’ll be a natural collaborator and communicator — this is not a role for a solo-operator!
You’ll be excited about the opportunity to join an impact-focused Kiwi company. A positive, self-aware attitude is highly valued at Evnex. In this role, you’ll have some lofty targets to meet, so you’ll need to be prepared to put in the extra work at times. You’ll be supported by a highly-skilled team, and be rewarded with a competitive salary and opportunities for growth.
You may be a good fit if you can demonstrate the following:
- 4+ years of experience in campaign management, with a focus on planning, executing, and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience working as part of a small team in a high-growth, environment.
- An in-depth understanding of how to build and optimise user journeys from awareness, to consideration, to conversion, to advocacy.

- A natural interest in clean tech / renewables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A fast learner who is technically competent at picking up new skills and highly computer literate.
