About the role

Temporary full time opportunity to manage the recovery and collections function within the revenue services area in a professional and proficient manner.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Comply with the provisions of the Financial Accountability Act 2009 and Metro North Hospital and Health Service Financial Management Practice Manual so as to enable the supply of accurate financial and statistical data reporting purposes in a timely mann
• Effectively lead and manage revenue recovery operational functions and positions responsible for these functions for the HHS.
• Establish an open and collaborative working relationship with the Manager Revenue Control and Manager Private Practice in order to ensure an efficient and effective revenue billing and collection cycle.
• Be pro-active in identifying areas of the end to end revenue process which could be improved which would lead to increases in processing efficiencies, collection efficiencies or revenue generation.
• Manage and monitor the receipting function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of bank transactions and payment allocations.
