About the role

Vic Leahy Removals is seeking an experienced Furniture Removalist/Driver to join our team in Glen Iris, Victoria. This is a casual role, offering flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle. As a Furniture Removalist/Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and relocation of our customers' belongings.

What you'll be doing

• Carefully packing, loading, and unloading furniture and other household items
• Driving removal trucks to transport customer belongings to their new location
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth moving experience
• Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company's vehicles
• Assisting with the setup and arrangement of furniture at the destination
• Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and coordinated moving operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a furniture removalist or driver, preferably in the transport and logistics industry
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safe handling of customers' belongings
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy loads
• Familiarity with the local area and strong navigational skills
