We have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator Community Safety to join our team and lead our Community Safety unit!
What You Will Do:
As the Coordinator Community Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of proactive and reactive community safety services across multiple units, operating 24/7. You will play a key role in developing and managing strategies that make a real impact on the safety and well-being of the Cairns region. Your leadership will be critical in enhancing the safety of the community while fostering relationships and ensuring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
What We Are Looking For:
- Demonstrated extensive experience within Local or State Government, relating to leadership and motivation of teams.
- Demonstrated project management experience involving complex and multi-disciplined teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to and practice of participative leader style that supports, motivates individual, team and corporate achievement.
- Communication and negotiation skills, maintain working relationships with staff and a range of internal and external customers.
