Salary: $116,257.58 - $123,661.53 pro-rata p.a. + 11.5% super
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading and mentoring a team of compliance officers in complex investigations
- Ensuring thorough enforcement of local and State laws
- Overseeing the City’s Pound facility, ensuring compliance with animal welfare standards
- Overseeing legal processes, including prosecution brief preparation, compliance reviews, and court and tribunal representation
- Collaborating with WA Police, legal representatives, and community stakeholders to drive enforcement and compliance initiatives
- Handling escalated customer complaints and high-profile investigations
- Implementing new technology to enhance investigations, such as GPS tracking, CCTV, and LPR systems
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Significant experience in compliance enforcement, investigations, or municipal law enforcement
- Ability to work autonomously and set the tempo and direction for your team
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team in compliance or law enforcement settings
- Excellent knowledge of local laws, governance, and legal procedures
- Proven ability to handle complex investigations and prepare prosecution briefs
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
