About the Role:

Tradewind Australia is recruiting for Casual Early Childhood Educators and Assistant Educators for a number of Early Learning Centres across the following areas:

Bunyip, Drouin, Warragul, Baxter, Carrum Downs, Somerville

If you are a qualified Early Childhood Educator, holding a completed Diploma in Early childhood Education we'd love to hear from you!

As a Casual Early Childhood Educator with Tradewind you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch care and education to young people. This role is all about flexibility, giving you the chance to work on your own terms while still making a real difference in the lives of young children. We value our educators and provide ongoing support to ensure you're set up for success. Key duties:

• Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities.
  
• Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
  
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences.
  
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers
  

Skills & Experience:

• Fully completed Diploma in ECE (or ACEQUA equivalent)
  
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
  
• Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  
• Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain)
  
• Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• A consistent willingness to get stuck in and show initiative
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of any team
  
• Strong understanding of EYLF and Child Safety Standards
