About Us:
Building Safety Products Australia is a small, dynamic company specializing in the fitout and refurbishment of car parks. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality, we take pride in delivering outstanding service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Front Office Admin / Accounts professional to join our team.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of Front Office Admin / Accounts. Based out of our office in Ormeau, Queensland, this is a casual position, working three days per week. The role offers flexibility with start and finish times to suit the successful applicant. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth office operations while managing basic accounting tasks, including payroll.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients, visitors, and customers with professionalism and a welcoming attitude
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and general inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with day-to-day accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions
  • Maintain financial records and assist in preparing invoices and reports
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring office operations run smoothly
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts and payroll (1-2 years preferred)
  • Proficient in MYOB software (required)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving
