Café Gumly & Bottlemart is a brand-new café in Wagga Wagga, opening on April 1st. We are passionate about serving high-quality coffee and delicious food in a warm, family-like environment. Our team works together as a close-knit family, and we’re looking for like-minded individuals who share our passion for great hospitality, teamwork, and customer service.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are on the lookout for experienced Baristas and Chefs who are motivated, creative, and committed to delivering outstanding food and coffee. Our ideal team members will bring positive energy, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Barista Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages with consistency and attention to detail.

• Engage with customers, building strong relationships with regulars and creating a welcoming environment.

• Work closely with the Bottlemart section, where liquor sales are part of the business—an RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is required or must be obtained.

• Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

• Keep the café area clean and organized.

• Foster close connections with our loyal customers and create a community feel within the café.

Chef Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare delicious, high-quality meals.

• Have the flexibility to create and introduce your own menu items.

• Ensure food presentation and taste meet our high standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety regulations.

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a barista or chef in a fast-paced café or restaurant.

• A friendly, approachable personality with strong communication skills.

• Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Passion for food, coffee, and excellent customer service.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative.
