VTS Cranes & Hoists, leaders in the tower crane & hoist industry, is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter.

Applicants must be experienced in similar painting duties and responsibilities but also willing to learn new skills as necessary.

Successful candidates must have:

• Technical knowledge - Understanding of different paint types, their properties, and appropriate application methods.
• Physical ability - Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and perform repetitive motions.
• Attention to detail - Ensuring accurate and consistent paint application.
• Hand-eye coordination - Precise control when operating spray guns and other painting tools.
• Safety awareness - Knowledge of safety procedures and hazardous materials handling.
• Experience with specialized equipment: Familiarity with spray booths, paint mixing systems, and other industrial painting equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience painting a variety of surface types – ideally structural steel elements.
• Proficiency with technical machinery.
• Physical strength to operate machinery.
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal communication.

Key Duties

• Cleaning, sanding, grinding, and removing rust or corrosion from surfaces to be painted.
• Painting of tower cranes, hoists, and ancillary equipment .
• Choosing the appropriate paint type and mixing it according to specific color and consistency requirements.
• Applying paint using spray guns, rollers, brushes, or other specialized equipment depending on the project / equipment.
• Applying stencils or masking tape to achieve precise paint patterns.
• Inspecting painted surfaces for defects and ensuring proper coverage and finish.
• Adhering to safety procedures including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and working in designated areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, hoses, and other painting equipment.
• Maintaining records of paint types, application details, and project completion.
