Sales and Logistics Coordinator

The role contributes to the provision of quality business development and sales services by delivering sales administrative support and assistance to the General Manager – Commercial and across the organisation in an efficient and effective manner from fast and accurate data entry to analysis and developing procedures to improve current sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage high volume phone calls and prepare written quotes
• Assist customer issues and provide general sales admin support for different business units
• Maintain sub-contractor register
• Work closely with sales teams to develop tailored solutions for clients
• Assist with formal tender proposals and provide documentation etc as required
• Provide reporting and customer information as required
• Support the General manager with admin and office assistance

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years within the transport and logistics industry.
• Operational exposure to wharf cartage / linehaul services / and / or refrigerated services
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLookup’s, Pivot Tables etc)
• Experience in pricing customers logistics requirements (desirable)
