We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Client Liaison Officer to join our team and help us take our business to the next level.
Position Overview:
As a Client Liaison Officer, you will be a key player in the delivery and implementation of advice strategies, while managing client relationships alongside an adviser. Your role will involve ensuring smooth advice delivery through our process, compliance, and regulatory adherence, as well as offering support to the advisory team through administration and data entry. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment and have the opportunity to grow with a fast-paced and innovative business. This role is primarily onsite however, for the right candidate we are open to flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Advice Strategies: Work closely with the adviser to ensure the smooth execution of client financial strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for any queries or support.
- Administration & Documentation: Manage client documentation, ensure files are up-to-date, and prepare required paperwork for the implementation of financial strategies.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with advisers, paraplanners, and other team members to ensure the seamless operation of our advice delivery process.
- Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all processes are compliant with current financial regulations and industry standards, maintaining the integrity of our services.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring a positive experience for both clients and the advisory team.
What are we looking for:
- Experience: Previous experience within the financial planning industry, with an understanding of the advice process.
- Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of the complete financial advice process, including a good working knowledge of superannuation regulations and compliance.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage relationships effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling documentation and client data.
- Compliance Mindset: Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- A ‘Client First’ attitude: A client centric approach, with the ability to prioritize and manage clients’ needs.
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to resolving issues and ensuring clients’ needs are met.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Bonus points:
- Experience with xPlan or similar financial planning software.
- Knowledge of superannuation and insurance products and platforms.
