About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Receptionist to be the first point of contact at KARI’s Penrith office. This role is essential in delivering quality service to our clients, staff, and community. You will manage reception duties, assist with administration, and support the smooth running of our office.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate the telephone switchboard and direct calls appropriately
- Meet and greet clients and guests with a friendly and courteous approach
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as online ordering of office supplies
- Assist with administrative tasks and fleet vehicle management
- Maintain high Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards, including inspections, contractor coordination, and compliance checklists
Requirements
- Aboriginality is a requirement for this role.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (minimum P2)
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
Skills and Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven customer service experience
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
