About the role

Auto Genix is seeking an experienced Accessory Fitter or Auto Electrician to join our team in Cranbourne, Victoria. As an Accessory Fitter or Auto Electrician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the functionality and customisation of our clients' vehicles. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

• Expertly installing a wide range of automotive accessories, including Sound systems, alarm systems, tow bar, and performance upgrades
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, meeting both manufacturer specifications and customer requirements
• Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and providing recommendations on the most suitable accessories
• Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken and materials used
• Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines
• Supporting the broader team with any additional tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Accessory Fitter, with a strong understanding of a wide range of automotive accessories and their installation
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• A customer-centric approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• A valid driver's licence and your own tools
• Formal training or qualifications in the automotive industry would be highly regarded
