About the role

This full-time HR & Payroll Support position for our client in the Southern Suburbs of Perth is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to support the HR and payroll functions of a growing organisation. In this varied role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's HR and payroll processes.

What you'll be doing

• Providing support for all HR and payroll activities, including employee onboarding, payroll processing, leave management and general HR administration
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
• Assisting with the preparation of HR reports and data analysis
• Answering employee queries related to HR and payroll matters
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Collaborating with the HR team to ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and regulations
• Providing general administrative support to the HR department as required

Desirables

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar HR and/or payroll support role
• Strong knowledge of HR and payroll best practices, as well as relevant employment laws and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
• Proficient in the use of HR and payroll software systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
• Proactive, organised and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field would be highly regarded
