Perth based roles available and a variety of rosters coming available in the coming weeks

The Roles will include:

• Competitive hourly rates + Super
• Performing abrasive blasts to mining equipment surfaces to remove sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt
• Perform sandblasting, grit blasting, or high-pressure water blasting
• Mix and prepare paints, epoxies and industrial coatings according to manufacturer guidelines
• Inspect surfaces before and after to ensure high quality and to adhere to the industry standards
• Comply with standards when handling hazardous materials
• Apply primers, topcoats and protective coatings using spray guns
• Inspection of work area and surrounding are conducted daily to ensure good housekeeping

Skills/ Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Industrial Painter/Blaster
• Must hold a valid Australian Drivers License
• Must have legal working rights within Australia
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
• White Card
• Forklift License - desirable
• Nationally accredited Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (within 2 years) - desirable
• Nationally accredited Working at Heights (within 2 years) - desirable
• Elevating Work Platform License - desirable
• Positive Can-do Attitude and committed to working safely in a team environment
