The Australian HR Institute (AHRI) is the national association representing HR and people management specialists in Australia with approximately 60 employees and dedicated volunteers based in Melbourne and across Australia supporting over 16,000 members. AHRI enables the profession through its membership model, professional standards and certification, professional development opportunities, HR knowledge and insights through AHRI Assist, and using its voice to advocate for and influence HR best practice.
We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Digital & IT team. This role will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that enhance AHRI’s products, services, and internal operations. If you're passionate about delivering robust, secure, and scalable applications while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
We are seeking people with:
- Proven experience in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform development.
- Strong skills in Dynamics 365 CRM backend development, Power Pages, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure services.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, C# and frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience in application design, development, testing, and maintenance with a strong focus on integration and automation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, with at least four years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and maintain software solutions to support AHRI’s products, services and internal operations.
- End-to-end project involvement, interpretation of business requirements, deployment and maintenance.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications while improving existing systems.
- Contribute to process improvements and enhancements of the user experience.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Achieve targets and other associated KPI’s
