Your Role
As a Software Engineer, your mission is to develop high-quality, secure technical solutions that address both business and customer needs. You’ll be responsible for writing and maintaining code, improving security, enhancing application architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges. Your work will directly contribute to delivering innovative features and insights that help our customers manage their finances.

Your Responsibilities

• Write and maintain TypeScript-based code for both front-end (Angular) and back-end (Node.js) components of the application.
• Create and implement scalable APIs using a microservices architecture, incorporating message queues and event-driven strategies.
• Develop clean, maintainable front-end code with HTML5, CSS (SASS/LESS), and responsive design techniques, always keeping user experience (UX) at the forefront.
• Ensure the code is secure, robust, and thoroughly tested.
• Enhance the application's architecture, manage its lifecycle, and improve deployment workflows.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging coding practices, tools, and standards.
• Deploy working code to production and provide ongoing support in a live environment.
• Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise in production.

Skills Required:

• A degree in Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a software engineer, with hands-on experience in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of software testing, security, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Experience with SQL databases (especially Postgres).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or TDD methodologies.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues.
