Services Engineer / Building Services Manager

We have a unique opportunity for a Services Engineer / Building Services Manager to join an award winning T2 Contractor.

As Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the design and delivery of all building services systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, vertical transport, fire protection and similar.
• Managing and resolving complex design issues, managing subcontractors and service suppliers.
• Developing and maintaining construction programmes and schedules
• Implementing the procurement strategy
• Value engineering, and commissioning.
• Reading and interpret drawings
• Ensure delivery exceeds project parameters for time, cost, customer satisfaction, quality, and HSE at all times.

Required experience:

• Qualification in a relevant field of study and preferably have a Mechanical or Electrical degree
• Relevant industry experience in a similar role, working across large building construction projects, ideally from a Tier 1 / 2 main contractor or development builder environment.
• Experience on industrial, commercial, mixed-use and/or residential projects is preferred, however not essential
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, provide direction and meet deadlines within a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Worked on projects over $50m
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative nature, with the ability to work well in a team environment, forming strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
