Located in Brisbane, Queensland, the business is a leading manufacturer and distributor of packaging tailored to Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). With over 3,300 customers across Australia and New Zealand, we specialize in flexible custom packaging solutions. The business operates from a well-equipped Brisbane warehouse and has developed a strong reputation over its history, supported by a dedicated team of packaging experts. It serves key industries such as coffee, tea, specialty and natural health foods, pet foods, and agriculture, ensuring a diverse and stable client base.

We’re seeking an energetic Sales Manager to drive growth, manage key accounts, and expand our presence in the packaging industry.

In this exciting role, you'll take charge of a dynamic sales portfolio, identifying new business opportunities while building strong, long-term relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand the business unit, driving sales growth and brand development.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target key markets.
  • Provide hands-on technical sales solutions and expert advice to clients.
  • Deliver exceptional customer relationship management, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle customer proposals, contract negotiations, and account management while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Production and R&D teams to provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay ahead of the industry with market research and competitor analysis.
  • Represent the company at key industry events locally and overseas.
  • Lead and inspire a small but passionate team to achieve outstanding results.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within the flexible packaging or FMCG sectors.
  • Experience in the coffee, food, pet and supplement industries is a strong advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A consultative approach to sales, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in technical sales, particularly in flexible packaging, food & beverage, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of sustainability trends and eco-friendly packaging solutions is highly regarded.
  • E-Commerce experience- ride the wave of B2B and B2C sales
