As the Finance Manager, you'll be a key leader in overhauling the finance and accounts department, streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and embracing new technology. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of the business and will be responsible for taking proactive measures to enhance profitability, optimise operations, and refine strategy and structural efficiency while fulfilling your senior leadership responsibilities.

What do youdo?

• Prepare, review, and present financial statements and reports with clarity and accuracy
• Collaborate with team leaders to develop and oversee detailed budgets
• Track project financial performance and deliver data-driven insights
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Optimize cash flow, forecasting, and working capital management
• Lead the annual audit process, liaising effectively with external auditors
• Offer strategic financial guidance and recommendations to senior management
• Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering skill development and growth

What do you need?

• 5-10+ years in a similar role, ideally financial experience
• Degree qualified Accountant with CA/CPA Qualifications or equivalent
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Xero
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
