About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a collaborative and enthusiastic Human Resources Manager to join our Executive Team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including Remuneration and Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Work Health and Safety and Workforce Planning.
The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and works closely to support them deliver the organisation’s strategic direction as well as a small HR team to deliver the organisation's operational HR function. There is also the requirement to support and advise organisational leaders to manage HR issues in their teams.
Your duties will include:
- Keep up to date with current legislation and ensure Clinpath HR policy and procedures comply with any legislative change and maintain Clinpath HR policies as required
- Provide expert advice to Executive Team, Department Managers, Supervisors and Employees on all HR matters
- Manage the implementation and review process for all HR strategies in line with business needs
- Implement positive HR strategies, monitor and measure outcomes
- Provide written and verbal reports on HR metrics, as required to the Clinpath Executive Team
- Monitor, develop and implement key initiatives and management plans to ensure best practice and compliance obligations are met
- Ensure the organisation maintains currency with all relevant legislation, regulations, codes and standards.
- Represent Clinpath Pathology as required
- Continual professional development of all HR staff
- Implement a philosophy of continuous improvement with the promotion of a positive work environment
- Any other duties as requested by CEO
Applicants should possess the following:
- A relevant tertiary degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations
- Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and Clinpath ‘Our Values’
- Sound working knowledge of associated legislation, regulations, codes and standards
- Demonstrated skills in implementing HR strategies and initiatives along with leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in successful Enterprise Bargaining negotiations
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Demonstrated experience in HR metrics
- Ability to comprehensively monitor HR strategies, measure outcomes, analyse and report
- Well-developed relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to priorities workloads to meet competing deadlines
- The ability to operate autonomously, but within a framework for accountability to Senior Management
- Proficient, motivated and highly organised with great attention to detail
- Highly motivated, people oriented and results driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Clinpath Laboratories is a highly respected, well established private pathology practice, providing laboratory services to general practitioners, specialists, private hospitals, and aged care facilities in Adelaide, South Australia.
Clinpath Laboratories operates over 160 licensed collection centres conveniently located throughout metropolitan Adelaide.
Patients may have specimens collected at any of these locations by our experienced specimen collection staff, and for most routine tests no appointment is required.
Specimens are transported to our laboratories by experienced, well trained Clinpath couriers who work 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The laboratory is located in Mile End, SA.
