About This Opportunity
The Administration and Engagement Officer will support the effective provision of all teaching activities, placement experiences and assessment delivery across the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program. You will work collaboratively with key partners across the Central Queensland Wide Bay Regional Medical Pathway and assist with Regional Training Hub initiatives and enhancing partnerships in the regions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and resource teaching activities, assist with updating materials, and provide administrative support to students, clinicians, and tutors, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Support orientation planning, facilitate communication between course coordinators, clinical educators, and students, and coordinate examinations and assessments.
- Maintain student assessment records, collaborate with stakeholders to advance the Medical Pathway, assist with recruitment, and support Regional Training Hub initiatives and events.

Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences
The newly established Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences will be an interdisciplinary powerhouse of innovation and collaboration to lead integrated solutions to the needs of the communities we serve locally and globally. About You
- Relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply a range of rules, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement.
Desirable
- Relevant experience in a higher education institution or similar environment.
- Experience in and a commitment to living and working in rural and/or regional Australia.
This role also operates within an agreed work pattern of hours on Wednesday's and Thursday's
