Job Description

S & C Civil is seeking experienced operators to join our growing team. The successful candidates will operate one or several types of heavy equipment, including excavators, rollers, front-end loaders, skid steers, and track loaders.

Job Location

Perth Metro Sites, predominantly east and south

Duties and Responsibilities

• Promote Safety. Take an active role in promoting safety, follow standard operating procedures, and participate in SWMS compliance
• Operate Heavy Equipment. Safely operate heavy equipment across the worksite whilst coordinating with other trades
• Inspect Equipment. Perform thorough pre-start inspections and accurately complete daily log book
• Maintain Equipment. Maintain equipment performance by checking vehicle fluid levels and assisting in performing other minor maintenance.

Job Requirements

• HR License
• Water Cart
• Roller
• Loader and/or Skidsteer

• A minimum of 3 years of general earthmoving experience preferred
• VOC and/or proof of training for desired equipment
• Undertake pre-employment and routine drug and alcohol screening
• HR license preferred
• Periodic cleaning of machinery to remove material build-up from moving components
• Must be willing to work according to client demands

Compensation

• $35 - $47 p/hr DOE
