CIVIL EARTHMOVING MACHINERY OPERATOR WITH MULTI PLANT SKILLS

Roberts Bros PTY LTD is a locally owned & operated family business of 40+ years.

We specialise in civil construction of rural residential subdivisions around Gympie and are seeking experienced earthmoving machinery operators for :

• Dump Truck,
• Excavator,
• Dozer,
• Grader,
• Civil labourers with interest to operate machinery.

This position is a minimum of 40 hrs per week, Monday - Friday and overtime rates apply.

The successful applicant will undergo probation for 4 months.

Essential Attributes:

- Minimum 4 years experience in civil construction machinery operation,

- Have white / blue Card,

- Hold RII tickets or equivalent for plant and machinery,

- Must be reliable (with own transport), able to follow instructions & have a good work ethic,

- Willingness / ability to aid in labour work if required on occasions.

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who:

- Have experience operating other plant including Loader, Posi-track, Roller, etc,

- Hold a current truck license (MR / HR),

- Are familiar with using Topcon GPS technology,

- Have expertise in final trim of pavement gravel with Grader and Trimble UTS.

- Have a good ability to interpret and follow plans,

- Are in close proximity to the Gympie region,

- Are non-smokers.

Current Excavators are 1.7 to 36 tonne, mainly Volvo & Komatsu.

Current Dozers are Komatsu D51, D65 & D155.

Current Dump Trucks are 25 tonne Volvo and 30 tonne Komatsu.

Current Graders are Komatsu GD555 and CAT M140
