Bradbury Preschool seeks a qualified experienced, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic early education professional to join the team; a Fulltime Room Leader.

Essential Criteria:

• Requested qualification Bachelor of Early Childhood Degree
• Current First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
• Current Working with Children Check Number
• Comprehensive understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the Early Years Learning Framework
• Personal Philosophy

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous teaching experience working within early childhood sector
• Experience as a room leader and has leadership skills
• Both written and verbal communication skills
• Implemented a nature pedagogy program
• Implemented the Reggio Emilia approach in the environment
• Knowledge with embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait culture
• Passion, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to high quality education and care

The role requires the successful applicant to: develop strong relationships with children; support and partner with families and community; actively contribute to the planning, implementation, and reflection of a program reflecting the emerging skills and interests of children; and work with educators towards continuous improvement in all areas of Bradbury Preschool’s operations.
