On behalf of our client, a sustainability company, we are looking for a part time HR Business Partner for a 24 month contract. Noting - this is a 4 day a week role which is flexible on which days they are. Alongside this, our client offers flexibility to work from home 1 day a week - an opportunity that is becoming more and more rare by the day.
Office days can be based in a variety of their locations - you can choose between Hillsdale, Glendenning or Eastern creek.
This role will involve heavy ER management as well as coaching, mentoring and disciplinary work with the ER case team. Preparing documentation, giving guidance, business partnering with hiring managers and delivery of corporate strategic initiatives are all part of this busy role.
We are looking for an HR professional with strong generalist experience with good ER knowledge. strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment is a must.
Relationship building with your internal stakeholders is key - we are looking for someone that is happy to help and visible to the team. Somone professional and approachable and ideally coming from a large company. Industry experience such as retail, manufacturing, utilities and pharmaceuticals would be look on favorably.

- Actively contribute to creating a high-performance, values-based company culture

- Provide hands-on support, coaching and learning opportunities for operational leaders and teams
- Support performance matters, restructures, investigations as required
- Support the implementation of people initiatives with the objective of continuously improving and adding value to our ‘good to great journey’ including but not limited to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, remuneration
- Prepare tender responses Assets
- Development of tactical plan documents and negotiating relevant enterprise agreements aligned with overall business unit plan
- Support the implementation of programs and initiatives as required on an annual or ad hoc basis
- Management of the key HR metrics and performance outcomes Financials
- Support the optimisation of labour, employees, labour hire and contractors, utilising available metrics and insights to develop plans contribute towards continuous improvement for cost
- Support the annual total fixed remuneration reviews, anomaly remediation plans and benchmarking salary proposals for the business unit
- Proven human resources experience in a blue collar and highly unionised environment
- Exposure to a HR metrics driven environment providing insight and advice to optimise productivity and cost discipline
- Demonstrated ER/IR experience including the negotiation of multiple EA’s and complex case management
- Exposure to formal proceedings involving Employees, FWC, Trade Unions or other external bodies/parties as required Critical Knowledge
- Tertiary qualifications in HR / ER or related discipline • Solid working knowledge of employee relations legislation
