The role

The purpose of this role is to play a key part in developing and implementing departmental and state-wide strategic workforce solutions. You will actively partner across the business with internal and external clients and stakeholders to tailor solutions to address identified learning and capability gaps and deliver strategic priorities. In this role you will be valued for your knowledge and skills in your specialist area and you will deliver outcomes through self-management, sometimes with guidance from leaders.

Key Reponsibilities:

  • Coordinate, consult and negotiate internal and external stakeholder groups and other departments to broker and implement appropriate inclusion and diversity targeted workforce solutions.
  • Apply contemporary inclusion and diversity methodologies to design, develop and deliver face to face and blended learning content that addresses legislative and operational needs.
  • Work with business stakeholders to support the development of effective and engaging Diversity and Inclusion education and awareness opportunities.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of Diversity and Inclusion events.

The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Success in group facilitation skills, and high level interpersonal and communication skills, to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders on education, training and development, including developing and delivering presentations and information sessions.
  • Strong written, presentation, research and report writing capabilities with the ability to understand and interpret information and data as it relates to workforce inclusion and human resource branch initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop, monitor, review and evaluate the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion programs, career entry programs, and or wider human resource initiatives, including face-to-face and e-learning, supporting workforce development.
  • High level research, conceptual, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities within a complex environment.
