A unique opportunity has come up for a pelvic health physio to join our small, supportive and experienced team at Sunrise Pelvic Physiotherapy.
We are a small, independent, caring business, based in a great clinical space in Newtown. We aim to provide an excellent level of trauma-informed pelvic health care in a safe and welcoming space.
We see mainly women’s pelvic health clients, with a large focus on pregnancy and postnatal care, sexual and chronic pelvic pain with some musculoskeletal and rehab clients. Your caseload will be primarily women’s pelvic health.

The Role
- We are looking for someone to join the team 1 day a week to start with. You must be able to work a Wednesday, with room to expand to 2-3 days later.
- Flexible - suited to an experienced physio who can hit the ground running, or for someone who has had a few years experience but would still like mentoring and support
- We are looking for a practitioner who is empathetic and caring with excellent communication and time management skills, who is keen to work as part of a small friendly close-knit team
- You must be able to see clients independently and manage your own caseload
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
- Training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy (APA, Post Graduate Studies, or WHTA courses)
- Minimum 2 years experience in private practice (musculoskeletal or pelvic health)
- Someone who is able to work autonomously but also as part of a close-knit team
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Confident with exercise prescription
- Demonstrated ongoing commitment to CPD requirements
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- AHPRA Registration
- First Aid and CPR requirements up to date
- Must be an Australian Citizen or be a Permanent Resident

- Musculoskeletal experience
